Getting Ready

A marine survey from SOS Marine Surveys Ltd. can help you determine any deficiencies, sea worthiness or value of your vessel. Insurance companies require any vessel that is older than 15 years to be surveyed. 

-Make sure pathways are clear of clutter

-Have your boat keys on hand

-For out of water inspections, try to remove as much bilge water as possible

-For sea trials make sure there is enough fuel for no less than one and half hours of travel time.
